PASSION RUM PUNCH

Did you know?

The blend of passionfruit, orange, and guava juices are commonly referred to as “POG” by Hawaiian natives. It is an extremely popular mixture made famous in 1971 by Haleakala Dairy as a base for some of their frozen dairy desserts. The mixture is so wonderfully balanced between sweet and tart that it has become a staple on the Islands. POG also inspired the Pogs game craze in the 1990s. The game involved cardboard discs that originally came from the caps of POG juice bottles. Kids started collecting and playing with them, and the trend went global for a while.
